Tustin Pontiac, Buick, GMC, & Hummer are helping exceed customer expectations in the service department as they announce they have two GM World Class Technicians.

GM Goodwrench service technicians across the nation complete extensive GM training to earn the status of Mr. Goodwrench, “the one and only GM expert.” Some GM technicians, like Walter and John have taken over 450 hours of training each to reach an even higher level of expertise. Of the 60,000 service technicians nationally, Walter and John are two of 1,265 World Class Technicians.

“It takes a lot of commitment and hard work to earn the World Class distinction,” says Greg Anderson Parts and Service Director. “Walter and John have completed hundreds of hours of training and have earned Master Technician and ASE certifications in various vehicle specialty areas along the way.”

A GM service technician can earn World Class status in the mechanical and/or body areas. “Once achieved, the technician positions themselves as one of the most knowledgeable in their field and serves as a role model for all GM Goodwrench technicians,” says Tim Murray, director, GM Dealer Service Support.
